“For the audition process, I came in the first time and read a few scenes for Gary Ross and Suzanne Collins and some of the other producers involved. Then maybe about a week or so, maybe two weeks later, I came in and did a screen test with Jennifer Lawrence, where I actually read the scenes with her so they could see how the chemistry worked. Both of them felt really great, but as an actor, you just pick apart every single thing that you do, so for me, I was on pins and needles waiting to find out. And then when I finally found out, my jaw hit the floor. I was so excited.”—Josh Hutcherson on The Hunger Games audition process [x] (via cry-me-a-cho-chang)

A show source confirms to E! News that Glee has just cast stage actor Grant Gustin as Sebastian, a recurring role that will surely cause you Kurt and Blaine shippers to shake your fist at the sky in frustration, which was…
There are a lot of September birthday celebrants in my family, so we went to eat out at Dad’s. This was actually a week after my birthday, and my cousin, Tito and Tita were actually the birthday celebrants. Yet when the (crazy) band at Dad’s approached us, they pointed me as the birthday girl and sang to me (the attention was a bit embarrassing at first) and gave me this cupcake. Sweet sixteen indeed. ^_^
My FOREVER FRIENDS (our “barkada” name is too… explicit to be named here.) surprised me at home last year. I was woken up from my afternoon nap to find them in our dining room, holding handmade “hearts, stars and peace bouquet”, 2 sashes saying “17 and Single” and “Birthday Whore” (Yes, they love me and I love them.) and sang to me Bruno Mars’ Just the Way You Are. We haven’t seen each other much since the start of college and for them to surprise me at home on a Monday evening - best birthday gift ever.
I never wanted a Debut celebration. I wanted a Trip to Paris instead, which I got earlier this year. But my Mom was insistent on celebrating it, so my family ate out at Legend Villas (another buffet :)) ) and they surprised me with this awesome birthday cake, though we couldn’t pronounce what was written above, and 18 candles/18 wishes. And even though it’s pink (the cake and the candles) I really really love it.
(BTW, Donna, if you’re reading this: Yes, that’s the chibi you drew when we were in 4th year high school. :)) )
