It took only about 10 minutes for my monthly check-up and get my new retainers, but my Tita had a whole lot to… get fixed. Passed the time reading and I was already halfway finished with the book when she was finally done. Spent 2 hours there! :|

I’m really sad that the Ginny from the movies and the books are quite different. IMO, the movies didn’t give Ginny the attention (and the development) as a character and not just as Harry’s love interest. The Ginny in the books started out as a meek little girl, the little sister who has a crush on her brother’s best friend. When she grew up, she became this fiery and lively girl - a “popular” girl much like Lily Evans - and that’s what attracted Harry (and her other boyfriends) to her. The Ginny in the movies lacked this spark so the Harry and Ginny romance seemed really forced.
FYI, I don’t ship Harry x Ginny, but I really like Ginny as a character.
He is the most adorkable person ever. The American version of Colin Morgan.
SO CUTE IN RIO :”> (The voice, LOL.) How come most (if not all) of his characters are socially awkward? =))))) It’s endearing.
Oh, and his girlfriend’s name is Anna :>
And another thing that’s great? His bromance with Andrew Garfield :D (Andrew’s the Bradley to Jesse’s Colin.)
RANDOM POST IS RANDOM. GOOD NIGHT.

IN WHICH I PROCRASTINATE THREE THINGS I LOVE: PARIS, WRITING (blogging) AND BEING SELF-ABSORBED (Hurray for the last!).
For two freakin’ months. Unbelievable. I hope promise to update my blog and my Tumblr before the Summer ends. Really, this isn’t like me at all. :/
Irrelevant photo, but I guess it’s better shared than to have it uh… withering away in my USB, possibly.
We’re finally settled here in our old apartment in Dubai… and… and…
We had French Toast for breakfast. Random.
Anyway, I’ve only got 3 days here before I go back (alone. Mom, Ally and Bro are staying here for a month) to the Philippines… to my family and friends (who are more excited for the pasalubong than me. LOL.) the heat… the waiting school work… and reality.
I wanted to start blogging and posting the pictures but Ally’s laptop is broken and I’m using my Dad’s ancient laptop (How ancient? I’m using the Internet Explorer… without Tabs.) which has a gazillion viruses (I’m exaggerating, really. But there’s no way my USB is going near this thing.) and it’s a bit slow actually…
Anyway, I have loads of stories to tell and photos to share that I don’t know where to start. About the sights, the food, the expensive… things, experiences and anecdotes, the state of my chapped lips, sore throat and stuffy nose, how I survived 7 days without rice… you know, that sort of stuff. It’ll be a very detailed account.
Gotta go now. Lunch is waiting. We’re having KFC because our fridge is empty and 8-MCDO doesn’t exist here.
It’s weird.
Congratulate me on *finally* daring to recite in my EL 50 class. I’ve recited only thrice in this class… and two of them were done today! Yay me for being GC! TROLOLOL @-) But hey, you can’t blame me. This class was supposed to be only for Third Year students… and here I am, the easily intimidated freshman speaking up. wooo.
Today, I also encountered two very hoity-toity members of the faculty. And I was “scolded” twice for doing nothing wrong! Honestly! First when I was trying to get a photocopy of the list of Electives for my course, and then boom! In comes this control freak of a woman who readily “accused” me of “stealing”… wait no. That’s not it. Maybe just “messing up”… the bulletin board. But I already asked permission to borrow the papers in the bulletin board in the first place. Jeez. Next there’s another woman who asked us if there’s a photocopier in the Second Floor. I wanted to be nice and take her to it but she said (quite arrogantly) that she’s a member of the faculty and she knows how to get there… WELL WHY ASK IN THE FIRST PLACE? I mean, she could’ve just turned down my offer nicely… because that’s what I was trying to do… be NICE. Tsk tsk tsk. And to think they’re both part of the most prestigious university in the country and they act like that. Whuut.
Another thing that came in pairs today was when the cashiers in Taco Bell and Red Ribbon got my name wrong… and I used “Anna” and not “Annick”! Who knows what they might have called me if I used my nickname! The lady in Taco Bell called me “Hannah”… I was wearing the necklace my Dad gave me with a Letter A pendant so you’d think she’d get that it’s Anna with an A. And you’d think they might’ve recognized the girl who always eats in Taco Bell at least once a week. When I bought a slice of cake at Red Ribbon, the lady called me “Ara” and I’m like whuuuuuuut. Is there something in my voice, my pronunciation or are do the cashiers today have really bad hearing?
It’s weird.

This is me watching The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 8. So yeah. I sorta did my commentary in Twitter… and I’ve deleted my tweets with Bandz :)) This is me. Crazy, fangirl mode. @-)
